Fees & Sessions

Payment

Fees are payable for the place and not the attendance and must be paid one month in advance. Payments can be made by cheque or standing order and must be received on the 3rd of every month. Please refer to the terms and conditions. Our preferred method of payment is BAC’s.

You are required to give the nursery 1 calendar month’s notice in writing if there is a reduction in the number of sessions you require. Please complete the Permanent Session Amendment Form.

Government Funded Places for 3 Year Olds

All settings registered to accept government funding must offer free places for three to five year olds. Grant funding can be obtained for 38 weeks of the year, broadly covering school term times. Children can attend up to 15 hours per week. Any one funded session cannot be shorter than 3 hours. At Tiny Tots these places will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis and can be booked a term in advance.

A child born on or between:

April and 31 August

September and 31 December

January and 31 March

Will become eligible for a free place from:

Start of the Autumn Term in September following their 3rd birthday.

Start of the Spring Term in January following their 3rd birthday.

Start of the Summer Term in April following their 3rd birthday.

15 Hours Government Funding for 3 Year Olds

15 funded hours are offered over 38 weeks of the year. 12 weeks of the year are non-funded.

30 Hours Government Funding for 3 Year Olds

If you are eligible for the extra 30 hours you will receive a code. This will be sent via a secure message to your gateway account. You will need to bring the code to the office so we can validate it. In order to be eligible, you must be attending Tiny Tots for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Terms & Conditions

You must be eligible for the extended 30 hours.
Your child must attend for at least 30 hours.
Holiday entitlement will only apply to hours in excess of the extended hours as the entitlement has been stretched.
Lunch will be charged at £2.75 per meal but you do have the option to bring a packed lunch. Notification will be given if lunch costs increase.

Places are limited so please book your 30 hours of extended childcare as soon as possible. If you do not opt for the extended hours all parents and carers are still entitled to 15 hours of funding and Tax-free childcare (if eligible).

Alternatively, you are able to attend Tiny Tots for a maximum of 15 hours, and share your extended hours with another setting. Follow the link to find for further information regarding 30 hours funding and how to find out if you are eligible.

Funding for 2 Year Olds

If you have a 2 year old child then you could be eligible for a free early education place. Please refer to Care & Support in Cornwall.

Hourly Rate

Baby Room (under twos) - £6.85 per hour
Toddler Room (2-3 years) - £6.45 per hour
Pre=School Room - £6.25 per hour

Tax Free Child Care Scheme

You could save a further 20% on your child care fees by signing up to the Tax Free Child Care scheme. Follow this link for more information on how to apply - www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.

Tax Credits

Tax credits are available from the HM Revenue and Customs, based on household circumstances. You may be able to access help with the cost of ‘Ofsted approved’ childcare if you are working for a minimum of 16 hours per week.
